AZURE CLOUD ARCHITECT | BANGALORE | HYDERABAD & PUNE - Saag Tech

Job Description

  1. End to end technical responsibility towards successful delivery of the engagement
  2. Work closely with our clients, lead architects, program and project manager(s), technical staff and other IT stakeholders
  3. Evaluate project requirements and determine actionable tasks to meet the project timelines
  4. Produce high level and detailed designs, in line with project’s requirements
  5. Infrastructure discovery and assessments towards developing an automated build and migration plan
  6. Provide SME guidance to assessment, planning, migration and build teams
  7. Produce detailed migration plan including wave grouping
  8. Produce infrastructure level test plans and their execution
  9. Drive operational readiness and ensure production acceptance criteria are met for smooth transition to support teams (BAU)
  10. Produce handover documentation to delivery / support (BAU) teams and conduct transition, KT, handover workshops

Primary Skills

  • Expert level hands-on working knowledge on atleast one of the cloud platforms - Azure, , VMware or Azure Stack with fundamental knowledge of the rest
  • Broad skill spectrum covering IaaS, PaaS and container based design and build
  • Demostrable fundamental understanding across other infrastructure domains – Cloud networking, storage, backup, and databases
  • Good knowledge on atleast one operating system, preferably one of the popular Linux distros. 
  • Good scripting experience (atleast one – Shell, Powershell, Python)
  • Strong hands-on experience core infrastructure, monitoring and logging tools 
  • Good hands-on experience with CI/ CD automation tools - cloud agnostic or cloud native
  • Successfully delivered atleast one phase of enterprise cloud design, build or migration project with distributed systems

Secondary Skills

  1. Cloud migration tools – native or 3rd party 
  2. Cloud native PaaS and DB experience 
  3. Experience of working in an Agile project delivery
  4. Relevant expert level cloud certifications
